Professor Koren, whose research focuses on innovative approaches to studying the causes of civil conflict, taught in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz in Germany during his six-month fellowship, which concluded in July.
During his fellowship, Professor Koren collaborated with Professor Nils Weidmann on several projects related to the relationship between health and political trust and instability, one of which resulted in a on infectious disease outbreaks and political mistrust.
